Palouse Outfitters grew out of a lifetime spent designing tools, solving problems, and chasing adventure across the small rivers and open hills of the Northwest. With a background in engineering and design and a deep respect for traditional rod building, we focus on making gear that feels purposeful and long-lasting. Every blank we select, every wrap we finish, and every rod that leaves the shop carries that balance of precision and heritage.

We build in limited batches, not to be exclusive, but to keep the work honest and connected to the region that inspired it. Our goal is simple: create rods that fish well, last long, and honor both the craft and the landscape that shaped it.
